    To created this Self Portrait we had to get use to the application of photoshop. Although there somewhat similar to Illustrator and InDesign there more options and selection for different type of brushes. Within this design I used four different brushes such as Pencil KTW1, Charcoal Brush, Sampled Brush 2 and WC2. One issue that was first seen when making this design was the creation of straight lines for the outlines. Even with Smoothing at 100% which allows for easier control over the brush was still hard to create straight lines. For me to created the straight line I had to slowly created the line with smoothing at 100%.Such example was the creation of the glasses. I could have made it more accurate and straighter. While creating my design the longest part of the work was the sweater. To created the sweater I had to created three separate. One for the sweater outline, one for the non-shadow side and another for the shadow part of the sweater. I later merge all three layers to one to make it easier to organize and find. Although one thing I could have done better is to created my design to be more realistic as in making it seem more 3D.
