1.What are pixels?
Pixels are small dots or square in a digital display. Pixels are used to form a complete image, video, text, or any visible thing on a computer display. Each pixel contains a red, green and blue color to show color in the screen.
Color is viewed in computer monitors by the use of RGB color. The colors red, green and blue are mixed together to create new colors that are shown in a computer monitor or in other devices.
3.What is the additive color space?
The color additive space is a mixture of Red, Green and Blue that are used to create new colors.
4.Describe which additive color sliders values in InDesign you would use to make white and black.
4.Describe which additive color sliders values in InDesign you would use to make white and black.
To make white you need to have the color sliders of RGB to the maximum while to make Black all of the values or color sliders need to be at 0
5.What is the subtractive color space?
5.What is the subtractive color space?
Subtractive color space is the mixture of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black on paper or material
7.What is color calibration?
8.How does the PMS (Pantone Matching System) color system ensure color fidelity?
9.What is analog color?
10.What is digital color?
6.Describe which subtractive color sliders values in InDesign you would use to make white and black.
To make white all of the color sliders values would be 0 to create white. For black all the sliders would have to be put to 100%.
7.What is color calibration?
Color calibration is used to measure and adjust the color response of a device. It is used to accurately show the representation of colors on the screen and during the printing process.
8.How does the PMS (Pantone Matching System) color system ensure color fidelity?
The printer would look up or find the Pantone number which is a specific color to be used to print or created the specific image or picture during the printing process. Each color is assigned a number and name so it can be found and used.
9.What is analog color?
Analog color or Analogous colors are a group of colors that are similar to each other An example can be Yellow, yellow-green, green.
10.What is digital color?
Digital color is RGB because they are used to created more colors and to have a good variety when printing
